In Marvel’s Inhumans, after the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.
The cast for the series includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Ballers, Graceland) as Queen Medusa, Lost alum Ken Leung as Karnak, Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus, Eme Ikwuakor (Concussion, Extant) as Gorgon, Mike Moh (Empire, Street Fighter: Assasin’s Fist) as Triton, Sonya Balmores (Beyond the Break, Soul Surfer) as Auran, Isabelle Cornish (Australia Day, Puberty Blues) as Crystal, and Ellen Woglom (Californication, Outlaw).
Marvel’s Inhumans is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage), with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (Admiral, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes. The series is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
Marvel’s Inhumans will debut its first two episodes in IMAX on Friday, September 1, followed by the full eight-episode series on ABC this fall.
New Mutants hails from director Josh Boone with a cast set to include Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) as Magik, Nat Wolff as Cannonball, and James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier. The film is set to open against one of Universal’s rebooted monster movies.
Deadpool 2 will once again star Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth alongside Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino. John Wick‘s David Leitch is directing Deadpool 2 from a screenplay by the returning “real heroes here,” screenwriters Reese and Paul Wernick. Reynolds is again serving as a producer on Deadpool 2 alongside X-Men franchise caretakers Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner. Currently no other film is scheduled for June 1, 2018.
Details are light on Dark Phoenix, but it was previously reported that Simon Kinberg would write and direct the film. Disney’s Mulan remake is scheduled to arrive on the film’s November 2 release date as well.

FOX has some exciting news today with the announcement that The X-Files returns to the network later this year! The all-new, 10-episode installment once again will be executive produced by X-Files creator Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. In 2016, The X-Files return drew an average Multi-Platform audience of nearly 16 million viewers and was last season’s No. 2 broadcast drama. It also was the season’s most talked-about event series on Twitter.
The X-Files originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast includes the return of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
Directed and written by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Opening in theaters on May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7 and Thor: Ragnarok on November 3. Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to open on May 4, 2018.
